We want to provide a safe and secure system that gives confidence that your data will be protected for as long as we hold it. We will ensure that the information you submit to us via our website, via email, by post or through our offices is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

Your Information and How We Use It

PCB Care/inTouch Home Care may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details, together with your e-mail address, and other relevant information from your CV/Client enquiry. This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:

Work Seeker

  • To provide work finding services for you
  • To enable you to submit your CV for general applications or to apply for specific jobs. Please see the separate section on ‘Your CV’ below which details other uses and disclosures
  • To match your details with job vacancies which will assist in finding a position that is most suitable for you and to send your personal information (including sensitive personal information) to clients to apply for jobs
  • To answer your enquiries
  • To fulfil contractual obligations with our clients

Candidate

  • To trusted third parties where we have retained them to provide services that you or our clients have requested
  • Clients where confirmed interviews and assignments require personal data to identify the worker supporting vulnerable service users. Confirmation of DBS, training, competency & qualification for the role
  • Clients for auditing purposes

All visitors to our website (including all groups above) :-
• To market products and services, advise you of company news and industry updates, events, promotions and competitions, reports and other information. Where we do so, you will be able to unsubscribe from such communications.
• IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems.
• Insurance Companies.
• All third party organisations PCB Care/iTHC work in partnership with comply with similar undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as PCB Care/inTouch Home Care
• If PCB Care/inTouch Home Care merges with or is acquired by another business or company, we may share personal information with the new owners of the business or company and their advisors and if this happens, you will be sent notice of such event.
• We may also seek your consent to collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information for any other purpose not listed above.
• Our website may also use a recording service which can record mouse clicks, mouse movements, page scrolling and any text keyed into website forms. Data collected by this service is used to improve our website usability. The information collected is stored and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting and is not shared with anybody else.
• Your data is stored securely and safely in line with our Data Protection Policy – retention and storage.

Breakdown

Your CV

You can submit your CV via our website or by providing your CV to one of our consultants, via email or in branch. You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up. Your CV will be stored in our database, and will be accessible by all PCB Care/inTouch Home Care recruitment consultants.

You can update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure to submit a new CV. Your old CV will automatically be archived. Alternatively, you can deliver a new CV to your PCB Care/inTouch Home Care contact and they will update your details.


Information about online visitors

PCB Care/inTouch Home Care gathers information and statistics collectively about all visitors to our website, for example, which area users access most frequently and which services users access the most. We only use such data in the aggregate form. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users and how we can continually improve our online services to create a better overall experience for our users.


Subject Access Request

You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we hold. We can ask you to prove your identity and for more information about your request. Where we are legally allowed to do so, we may refuse your request and will give you reasons for doing so. PCB Care/inTouch Home Care undertakes to respond to Subject Access Requests within one month of receipt of the request at no charge to you.

If you would like to make a request for information, please contact g.forward@pcbcare.co.uk You also have the right to ask PCB Care/inTouch Home Care to stop using your information. You may also request deletion of your personal data. Please be aware that we may be required not to do so or be able to do so, where your data relates to financial information (HMRC, PAYE history etc.) that we need to keep for periods of up to seven years. If we are unable to delete your personal data, we will let you know why.


Changes to our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be changed by PCB Care/inTouch Home Care at any time. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will advise you of changes or updates to it via our website.
