It provides a friendly meeting place where children can become more independent, through a variety of well planned activities on a day to day basis.

Duties:

-To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting.
-To give support to the other staff within the setting.
-To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
-To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children's needs to be met.

Children's Residential Care Worker - 07/02/18TEMPTPCT

Are you passionate and driven to support both male and female children and young people, age 11-18, in their home and in the community?

The residential home provides 24hrs care for the children and you would be required to cater for 3-4 young people with their day to day activities.

Our client is dedicated to ensuring the young people are well safeguarded, so would require a candidate with very good understanding of safeguarding requirements and focused on the welfare of children.

To join this dedicated team, you would need to have:
*At least 2 year's experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism, Emotional and Behaviour difficulties and challenging behaviour.
* Level 3 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care with Children and Young people is desirable but not essential
*Flexible to working various shifts on rota, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in.
*Passionate and Driven
*Full drivers licence and be at least 22years of age.

*Full time (40hrs/week), permanent hours
*20 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday
